It sounds lovely, the perfect getaway, but unfortunately in this context the B&B stands for branding and badges. Another edict has been issued. Down on the farm we now have to incorporate - an aposite word - the name of the town when we answer our phones. I can no longer say "Hallo, sheep station, Thomas C speaking", it has to be "Good morning/afternoon, Septford sheep station, or milk processing plant, or pig pen...etc." It is part of branding.
I have been dutifully wearing all three badges I have been issued - I am all badged out, I look more like the Milky Bar kid than a serious shepherd. It is not without hazard. Twice now I have been stuck to my filing cabinet because of the strong magnet. You could say I have developed an attraction.
