Oh Little Town of Septfordlem

Christmas festivities are getting underway down on the farm. Of course, we have our own Christmas story. The town was so busy when Mary and Joseph arrived because everyone had turned up for their mandatory training. The inns were full because the hot desking policy had been extended to hot bedding. We were in this position because the Mayor had seen a sign in the north - "Farm for Sale" - and since then has been following stars to all points of the compass.

I was a little disappointed to hear they have already found an entertainer for the farm's children's Christmas party, someone called "Jolly Jenny". I had hoped to offer my services as "Twirling Thomas". This has nothing to do with my adult stage act "Twirling Thomasina" which has received rave reviews down at the Dog and Duck. The highlight of my children's show is when I spin a plate on the end of my shepherd's crook. To be fair, this is actually the entire act. I tried to simulate the real work expected of me which is to spin many plates at once but sadly failed. This led to the unfortunate incident at the Denby stoneware Christmas party, but thankfully they were "seconds". I waived my fee and they waved goodbye.
